How Do I?
Contact the Fire Department to get non-emergency information?

The information phone number for the DuPont Fire Department is (253) 964-8414.  DuPont Fire is staffed 24 hours per day, but firefighters may be on a response, in training, or on an assignment.  If you reach a recording, please leave a message with a return phone number and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Get information on burning restrictions?

Outdoor burning is permanently banned in Snohomish, King, and Pierce counties.  Small fires that are for cooking, or religious or ceremonial events are allowed with restrictions.  Contact the DuPont Fire Department at (253) 964-8414 for more information.

Get information on purchasing a bicycle helmet?

Bicycle helmets can be purchased at the DuPont Fire Department any day of the week between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM for $7.00 each.  Please remember that the engine company may be on response or assignment and there may be no one at the fire station.  Calling ahead may help alleviate this situation.

Register for a CPR/First Aid or CERT class?

Call DuPont Fire at (253) 964-8414 to register. CPR/First Aid classes are offered quarterly at a cost of $30 per student.

Get information about smoke alarms, their batteries, and how they operate?

Call the DuPont Fire Department at (253) 964-8414.  Any firefighter will be able to give you information about smoke alarms and programs that may be available to get grant-sponsored free replacement units.  Almost all homes have at least one smoke alarm, but almost two-thirds of home fire deaths result from fires in homes without working smoke alarms.
