Utility Billing
The City of Dupont serves all residential, commercial, and industrial customers with water and stormwater within the City limits. We do not bill for sewer or garbage.
Bills are sent out every two months on the odd-numbered months (January, March, May, July, September, and November) and are due on the 20th of the month. Past due charges are assessed on the 1st of the following month.
You can now sign up for *AUTO PAY or pay your bill online here. In addition to online payments, payments of cash, check, or money order, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover Cards may be used in person at City Hall.
*The new AUTO PAY program is for automatic credit card payments. We previously only offered direct debit through your checking accounts with a voided check. For the customers that are enrolled in the direct debit program, there are a few deficiencies and that is why we no longer offer that program. The deficiencies are they only pull funds on a generated billing cycle and they do NOT pull funds on final bills or "gap" bills. If you choose to go to AUTO PAY in place of direct debit please contact the utility billing clerk to remove that service once you have signed up for AUTO PAY.
Any questions relating to the status of a utility account should be directed to the Utility Billing Clerk Jenn Schultz at (253) 912-5210 or (253) 964-8121 or via Email.
