Help us capture the creepy crawlers of DuPont!

Starting on June 15th (National Bug Day) and running all summer long, bring your hand-painted rocks (to look like bugs) to the DuPont Historical Museum to add to our outdoor bug collection!

Sign in at the museum to drop off your rock bug and receive a chocolate bug!

Princess Tea 2021

Princess Tea

  • Saturday, July 10, 2021 – 11:00 AM
  • Clocktower Park
  • Cost: $25 per adult, $15 per child, children 2 years and under are free
  • Seating is limited.
  • Register by June 25th. Pending COVID phase, we will not be accepting payment until June 28 – July 2, 2021.
  • Join us for an enchanted “High Tea” with a menu fit for royalty. Bring your camera for photo opportunities with princesses from distant lands!

Caret 1843 Fort Nisqually Site (1)

1843 Site Tours

The DuPont Historical Society and Museum present the original 1843 Fort Nisqually site tour coming up on Saturdays, June 19, July 24, and September 18, 2021, 1:00 and 2:30 p.m.  Tours are open to all ages of the public, however, children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.  We will be walking on rough, uneven ground, and being outside there may be some bugs and bees around.  

The original 1843 Fort Nisqually site is located on Center Drive, DuPont WA across the street from the DuPont Civic Center 1700 Civic Drive. Please park in the Civic Center Parking lot and use the crossing light at Civic and Center Drive to walk to the fort site.

DuPont History Family Scavenger Hunt

The DuPont Historical Society has a puzzle for you! Using the 11 interpretive signs, 6 monuments, and 1 statue placed throughout historic DuPont and Northwest Landing, take a walk or several walks and see if you can locate the sign, monument, or statue that answers the clues!
