Snow Removal Prep

The Public Works Dept. completed seasonal change out of snow removal equipment and anti-icer sprayer. We continue to monitor weather forecasts for freezing and snow storm events. This allows us to prepare equipment and schedule staffing for what is usually an evening snow fall. Anti-icer is applied prior to freezing or snow fall, paying close attention to hills and intersections. Public streets are plowed when there is more than 1 inch of snow on the streets.

The map below shows our primary routes to ensure emergency vehicles can travel through the city, as well as school bus routes.

As a reminder, please use caution when roads are icy.
