[ARCHIVED] Letters from Service Line Warranties of America

Letters from Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA) were mailed out and should be in residents’ mailboxes this week. The City partnered with the National League of Cities and its service provider Utility Service Partners (now called SLWA) to provide a utility insurance program with Resolution 18-031.  The utility insurance program covers the cost for repair or replacement of utility lines that are on private property. This program covers water and sewer/septic lines. Private residential owners are responsible for the utility line between the house and the public utility meter or service main. This insurance program is voluntary.
