Originally known as "Tract I" Park, this park was renamed in 2016. Pola Andre was the clerk for the town in a time when no one wanted to be Mayor. In 1979, she was appointed mayor for the Town of DuPont. Her legacy was the "Mayoral Task Force" which heavily revitalized the town and upgraded the utilities including cable television, paved roadways with sidewalks and storm water system, and eventually community sewer in the area that is today known as the "Historic Village". The park is walking distance to the DD, HH & KK trails within the DuPont Trails System.
