Relationship building with our community helps build trust, which is foundational to effective policing. At the DuPont Police Department, we are committed to operating with transparency and maintaining the highest standards of accountability. Our goal is to ensure that our actions reflect our commitment to fairness and impartiality.   We are here to listen to your concerns and address your quality of life needs with a personal touch. Our community has a proud history and is unique due to its proximity to JBLM, and as such, we will strive to meet the diverse needs of our community members by employing a workforce that represents the community we serve.  I encourage you to engage with our staff in community meetings and connect with us through our various outreach programs.

The challenges facing our city and surrounding communities are ever evolving. To provide the highest quality police services, we must be adaptable and forward-thinking. We will leverage the latest technologies and best practices to enhance our operations and improve our services.  And because our team is our greatest asset, I am committed to supporting the wellness of our officers and staff by providing them with the tools, training, and resources needed to perform their duties effectively and safely.

Our mission at the DuPont Police Department is to protect life, fight crime, uphold individual rights, and support the community. As we move forward, our focus will be to continue to enhance police services and build strong, collaborative relationships with the community we serve. Together, we will strive to maintain a safe and vibrant city for everyone.

I am honored to serve as your Chief of Police and to lead a dedicated team of professionals committed to the safety and well-being of our community. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our officers and engage with the people who reside, work, and visit the City of DuPont.
